END OF YEAR TRIP A PALMA DE MALLORCA 2011

... We're back! ... And the truth is that, among other things, we brought the suitcases full of baggage and some more ... the fabulous memories of unforgettable days in Palma de Mallorca. We've had a great time, and although we have no choice but to return to our daily routine because all good things come to end soon, we will always be our memories, anecdotes and photos from this trip so of course you want to share with you today .

Our "adventure" began on Wednesday 13 April, very early, because we left by bus for the airport of Madrid Barajas at 5 in the morning (best to avoid traffic jams), and although most went dead sleep because the nerves had left us not sleep, we finally give up and finally take a nap on the bus ... with "permission" to those who did not stop to talk, sing and make trouble all the way ...

already at the airport in Madrid, bill the suitcases and we had breakfast before boarding the plane, which (finally) took us to Palm Mallorca with a slight delay on the scheduled time. It's amazing how pretty she is the island of Mallorca from the plane, and as a curious detail I will tell you it is much bigger than it looks at first sight ... from up there is all so beautiful that you feel privileged just to be able to contemplate these views so amazing.
A bus picked us up and took us to the San Diego hotel, we loved them all because the rooms were great and we had over the beautiful beach of El Arenal just off ... which more than one advantage to, after a good meal (you can not imagine how he ate there! ... quantity and quality, kids) get off to the beach to give it a few touches on the ball and lie on the sand. Time is not with us too during the five days we were on the island, but at least we enjoyed a pleasant climate although most do not we dare to get into the sea ...
That first day we were all pretty tired, so go out at night to a club that was great but we picked up reserve forces prontito ... better for the trip the next day ...
And on April 14 ahead of us, as I say, the first of our excursions around the island. After a good breakfast, the bus picked us up in front of the hotel and went to the monumental Bellver Castle, the ancient fortress that served as a prison until recent times and has authentic Roman relics in the museum. This castle we loved them all, from the top you can see a view genial de Palma de Mallorca, and its interior rooms we photographed monuments of great historical value as Roman tombstones, statues and remains of ancient vases and jars of all kinds ... a lesson in history.
Hence, again by bus, we went to the heart of the historic old city of Palma, where we visited the impressive Cathedral of Palma and the Cathedral Museum. Our tourist guide Encarnita (a greeting from here) told us many stories about the Cathedral, among others, that the famous architect Antonio Gaudí was working there for a while and his work can be seen in the Cathedral finish perfectly seeing some similarities with the monumental Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Other major artists such as Barceló also left their mark in the Cathedral of Mallorca, fusing sea and natural motifs with the decorative and architectural, giving this beautiful Cathedral a truly unique in the world.
After this excursion, we returned to the hotel with the right time to eat (the restaurant's hours were a bit limited ... it shows they are not custom made for English) and after a good nap, we loaded the batteries to go out night ... so we could laugh that day! ... and it happened to us all. Surely you have heard the halls and at recess the institute all sorts of urban legends about it, but the fact is that we had a very good and although a server had to go back to the hotel earlier than planned (I went to Mallorca with a finger broken foot, I had no other), the next morning my good friend and teammate Carlos told me how he ended the night ... no negative incidents, but with many hilarious anecdotes ... and not, for if anyone was wondering what our kids do not ligated or a cold ... hehehe!
On April 15 we woke up he laughs anecdotes from the night before, and after another great breakfast, we went through reception to collect our bags picnic ... and that day we had to make a day trip, the longest and most complete of all, and also played to eat outside the hotel.
The bus took us down the road with more curves in the world (literally), crossing the Sierra de Tramontana crossing miles of curves impossible (there was filmed the famous announcement of Renault Megane in leading Fernando Alonso) and rugged terrain with final destination in Calobra Sa beach, a real darling where we stopped to eat and rest until our next move ... by boat! ... we picked a couple of hours later and took us to the port of Soller, along a wild coastline of dramatic cliffs ... thank goodness that the sea conditions that day allowed us to make the trip. In fact, I remember that Friday was the day that we had best time of all, and you can not imagine what we took advantage.
Once in Soller, we took a walk through the village and we had the opportunity to ride the tram electric motor, 1912 ... a true relic in motion that led us back to the starting point, along the island for another different route.
And from there we went back to the hotel by bus again, because the tram ended its journey midway. Needless to say, right around the hotel were destroyed and all was a very long day and still did not stop for a minute ... and for that reason and because we had to fill the tanks of "fuel" to the restaurant we went to dinner with a hungry wolf ... the picnic they gave us the morning we heard a very little, so we took a real honor for dinner ... in fact, I think after those five days, more than one kilo returned with some more ...
Unfortunately, as I say, my foot would not let me be very way, and that night, after we gave palizón in the morning, I had to stay at the hotel to rest a bit ... but of course, Carlos and the boys were running with more motivated than ever and I spent bomb ... a new opportunity to fill the book of memories and anecdotes of all kinds ... if you do not believe me, ask your colleagues how about it

That day was the day that fewer hours spent together, because it was day off and everyone went on their own, but after dinner we all gathered in the girls' room to see the football game that night in the company ... and is a Madrid-Barça do not see every day ... as you can imagine, there were divided opinions about the outcome and development of the game ...
The next day, the Sunday April 17, we had to fly back home, and although we were sad that our adventure was over, the boys could not stop laughing remembering the stories and the impact of everything that happened during those five unforgettable days. We arrived late at night Horcajo already, just in time for a shower and bed, but I can assure you one thing ... for some time that happens, never forget that trip course to Palma de Mallorca in April 2011 ...
